Vivo Y95 will have a 20MP AI selfie camera, 4GB RAM, waterdrop display

Vivo is reportedly working on launching a new mid-range smartphone dubbed the Vivo Y95 soon. The retail packaging images, Geekbench scores, an official promotional poster, and some specifications of the device have recently got leaked.

As apparent from the promotional poster, the prime focus here is going to be on the front camera which will be a 20MP AI selfie snapper. We can see an almost bezel-display (6.22-inch) with a waterdrop notch at the top and a tiny amount of chin at the bottom.

At the rear, we can see a dual camera setup, the resolution of which is still not revealed.

A large 4,030 mAh battery will keep the lights of the device on. Moving to the OS, we are going to get Android 8.1.0 out of the box.

Moving the focus to the Geekbench scores, the Vivo Y95 has managed to score 878 in the single-core test and 3,270 in multi-core test.

The Geekbench score also reveals that the Vivo Y95 will sport a 1.96GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset which will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which will have a scope of further expansion with the help of an external SD card.

There is no clear evidence as to whether or not there will be a physical fingerprint scanner coming with the device, but it is almost certain that one will be able to unlock it with the help of the front camera’s facial unlock mechanism.

As of now, there is no word on the price and the release date of the device, but we will keep you posted the moment we receive further intel on the same.
