The Hardware:

The new Exynos 9 Series 9810 octa-core processor will power the S9 series. In other markets, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

Samsung is believed to have a struck up a deal with Qualcomm which will give the Galaxy S9 a period of exclusivity for the Snapdragon 845 processor – meaning that the S9 could have exclusive features for at least the first half of 2018 and it will make it the fastest Android smartphone ever.

The Galaxy S9 has been listed on Geekbench. According to the listing, the Galaxy S9 has a single-core score of 2680, and a multi-core score of 7787. The software:

The Samsung Galaxy S9 will come with Android Oreo with TouchWiz out of the box. Bixby will be on board like the S8 and S8+, probably with some advancements, as well as Google Assistant.

Ice Universe tweeted that Samsung is coming up with Galaxy AI UX. We have no idea what Galaxy AI UX is, it could be related to artificial intelligence and machine learning. This means the Galaxy S9 may come equipped with a more tailored user experience. With AI, the device will be able to pick up on what goes on around it while it’s being used which allows it to become smarter. With the Bixby logo underneath, we can only assume that these features will be included in the Bixby assistant.
