The OPPO A75 and A75s Will Feature a 6-inch Display and Facial Recognition

OPPO, one of the best Android smartphone manufacturers as far as photography is concerned, has just taken the wraps off the OPPO A75 and A75s today in Taiwan. The OPPO A75 and the A75s are going to feature 6-inch displays and a facial recognition screen unlock feature. Surprisingly, there is little to separate the devices from one another. The only difference between the two is the amount of internal storage – while the OPPO A75 packs in 32GB of internal storage, the A75s has 64 gigs in its pocket. This is a strange trend which a lot of companies have been following lately. I mean, why on earth would someone buy the costlier variant when both the devices give us the ability to expand the storage via an external SD card. As far as the displays of the devices go, both the devices feature a 6-inch 2160 x 1080 LCD display, which have an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Both the devices operate on a MediaTek Helio P23 (MT6763T) SoC clocked at 2.5 GHz and there is an ample 4GB of RAM to support the processor. A 3,200 mAh battery juices the device which supports quick charging. Coming to the rear of the device, there is a fingerprint scanner and the 16MP primary camera unit. Just like the earlier OPPO devices, the company has decided to provide the front of the device with a much better 20MP shooter which would double as the facial unlocking mechanism as well.

This feature appears to be like the one used in the OnePlus 5T as well. However, whether it really is as good as the OnePlus 5T or not, is yet to be tested.
