Facebook Messenger integrates with PayPal: Now PayPal right from the Messenger

Facebook has always tried to make the Messenger app a one-stop shop for a lot of stuff. While there is a lot of features, which, truth be told, are quite useless, there are some which do come in handy at times. This time, Facebook has integrated with PayPal in order to ensure seamless money transactions for its users.

Sending money from the messenger is nothing new and it’s been there since 2015. But that used to be done by linking a debit card or bank account to the Facebook account.

There was, as such, nothing wrong with that, but for those who use their PayPal account extensively, this new feature is a welcome one.

How to use PayPal in Facebook messenger?

Facebook with PayPal

In order to use PayPal for paying money from the Messenger app, all you need to do is to tap the blue Plus icon and hit the payments option. After this, you need to choose PayPal as your preferred payment option and you are good to go. You can either make a payment via PayPal or deposit the money you have received to your PayPal account.

You can send the money to a single person or even to a group of friends.
